It All Started With InstaHedge
InstaHedge was created to meet the growing demand for instant hedging and large trees, primarily serving private homeowners who wanted mature, ready-grown plants to achieve immediate privacy and structure in their gardens. Today, InstaHedge remains a trusted supplier of premium-quality hedging and trees, offering a fast, effective solution for natural screening and beautiful garden design.
The Evolution: RentaHedge and RentaMaze
Shortly after launching InstaHedge, Gareth saw an opportunity to bring the same instant greenery into the events and hospitality world. This led to the creation of RentaHedge — a unique rental service supplying real, living hedging, trees, and topiary for short-term use at events, exhibitions, retail spaces, and more.
Pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with living plants, the team developed RentaMaze — a ground-breaking concept offering fully customisable, living hedge mazes for events and public installations. These immersive, real-plant mazes range from 36m² to over 1000m², and have been used across the UK in shopping centres, festivals, brand activations, and themed events throughout the year.
Thanks to bold design, flexible installation, and year-round themes, RentaMaze has become the #1 temporary hedging solution for interactive experiences indoors and out.
